Account Security

This section answers common questions regarding account security, ban risks, and spam risks.

1. API Security

Except for the ViralLibrary (a tweet database that does not involve critical account operations), we prioritize official APIs for operations whenever possible

2. Regarding Spam

  • Content Advice: Adding your Persona to the Context will further improve the quality of your replies.
  • Risk Advice: Follow our best practices and avoid running the ReplyBot 24/7. This effectively prevents you from being flagged as spam.

3. Abuse & Compliance

  1. We strictly prohibit account abuse. Do not use our platform to let multiple users operate the same X account at the same time, and we do not encourage sending large volumes of spam content in a single day. Our platform does not provide any bulk post publishing functionality. If your account is suspended due to behavior that violates X policies, we assume no responsibility.
  2. We strictly follow X policies and prohibit any illegal activity or sensitive/forbidden content from being published through our platform. If detected, we will suspend the related account and you will bear all consequences.

  • If you are concerned, we suggest you first test it on accounts with fewer than 500 followers.
  • If you send illegal content in DMs or your product contains illegal content, your account may still be banned. We will not be held responsible in this case. Please be aware.

4. DM Sending Limits (Rate Limit)

  • The following limits apply to both SalesBot and AutoDM.
  • Based on X API user-level DM limits (15 messages / 15 minutes, 1,440 messages / 24 hours), we apply a stricter in-product throttle.
  • Effective policy in Volumn.ai:
    • Minimum interval: 1 minute per DM for each user account;
    • Daily cap: 200 DMs per 24 hours for each user account.
  • If a limit is hit, the task is not dropped. It will be rescheduled and continue at the next allowed time.
  • We have implemented the necessary safety protections. However, if account restrictions or bans occur due to abuse (e.g., harassment/spam violations), we assume no responsibility.
